From gardens with extensive grounds to a modest courtyard patio...

Choosing to landscape your garden is a big decision to take. It can also seem like a daunting task full of unknowns. Many people have very strong ideas about what they want while others like someone to take over the entire process. Some need very little work doing but would still like help, perhaps in choosing materials and plants.

We encounter people in these positions all the time and have become very used to taking the mystery out of landscaping a garden, helping clients to arrive at a concept which fits exactly what is in their minds eye.

For potential clients who require a plan, the following is a quick overview of the process that would occur once we have been contacted.

The first step is to make an appointment for a consultation. This can be at any time to suit the client be it early morning, late evening or weekends and is completely free with no obligation to continue. We use this initial meeting to talk through any ideas the client has while offering our own advice and suggestions. Together we come up with an overall concept which we use to create a detailed, scale plan.

At the next meeting we discuss the plan further, looking through samples of materials making any changes and redrawing the plan as necessary, until the client is fully satisfied that the planned garden is exactly right for them.

At this stage the client is left with a full detailed quotation .

Should the client wish to proceed with the work then a deposit will be required to secure a start date.

From the moment work begins, every care is taken to keep the site clean, tidy and safe taking special measures to protect any areas of the garden that need to be preserved during the building phase.

Upon completion of the work, the client is left with general notes on the aftercare of the garden, and where appropriate, a full plant list with instructions on how to care for them. We also spend as much time as we need passing on useful gardening tips to help keep the garden healthy

We also have a company policy to return in the spring or the autumn following completion to give a general health check and answer any questions which may have arisen since we left.

For those who wish it, we offer a full maintenance program through our sister company, Evolution Garden Maintenance.
